DoubleStep with angled steps used for making DIY climbing sticks for hunting. Many also upgrade Lone Wolf sticks with these DoubleSteps, especially on the top step to be able to comfortably reach higher to place next stick.
Using on Lone Wolf sticks will require a replacement bolt. Use 1/4″-20 x 2″, Grade 8. Note – you only need a replacement bolt at the top and bottom, not middle step. Be sure to re-use the plastic washer under the bolt head to prevent the rotating LW standoff from loosening your DoubleStep.
Angled DoubleSteps. These are 9″ wide, 2″ high, and 3/8″ thick. There is a 1/4″ hole for the bolt with a 1″ channel on the back to hold tight to the 1″ aluminum tube. These work on DIY sticks, Lone Wolfs, and any other brand of climbing sticks that utilize a 1″ tube. These are just like the original DoubleStep but with a 7 degree angle to help keep your foot on the step while climbing.
These are made from 6061 aluminum and weigh a mere 3.6 ounces.
